Vishwanath (Vish) is a seasoned leader with over 25 years of global expertise in Risk Management, specialising in Information Security, IT Service Management, and Business Resilience. As the Head of Cyber Risk & Compliance at BaptistCare NSW/ACT/WA, he safeguards the information of one of Australia's most vulnerable communities, driving agile and future-focused cyber strategies.
Previously, Vish served as the inaugural Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) for the NSW Electoral Commission, where he established end-to-end cybersecurity services, embedding security into business processes to ensure the secure delivery of elections. His efforts were instrumental in protecting democratic integrity and earned him the prestigious CSO30 Business Value Award 2024.
At Emirates Airlines, Vish excelled as the Global Continuity Lead, advancing IT and Business Continuity practices and pioneering Cyber/IT Trust Advisory services to align business and technology strategies.
