
Paul Nevin is the Co-Founder and CTO of Cybermerc, leading advancements in cyber threat intelligence, cyber espionage detection, and cyber security education. He began his career at the Australian Signals Directorate, laying the foundation for his expertise in offensive and defensive cyber operations. Over the years, he has held key roles at RSA and BAE Systems, working at the forefront of intelligence-sharing initiatives and advanced cyber defence strategies.
Paul has also played a pivotal role in developing national cyber security capabilities, with a focus on threat intelligence sharing and collaborative defence frameworks. As an adjunct lecturer at UNSW, he has contributed to the education and training of Australia’s next generation of cyber defenders. A strong advocate for industry-government collaboration, Paul continues to drive cutting-edge innovation in cyber security, bridging gaps between the public and private sectors to enhance Australia’s cyber resilience.
