
Ms Michelle Fitzgerald is the Group Chief Digital Officer at St Vincent’s Health Australia and a Council Member of RMIT University. Ms Fitzgerald has a proven track record in leading strategy, design, testing and implementation of high impact, digitally-enabled change in purpose-driven organisations that operate in disruptive environments.
Ms Fitzgerald was previously Chief Digital Officer at the City of Melbourne. Prior to this she spent 18 years with Accenture and PwC, including five years as a Partner, focusing on digital strategy and transformation in Australia, Asia, the United Kingdom and Americas.
Ms Fitzgerald has previously served as a Director for Standards Australia and the Internet of Things Alliance Australia. She was acknowledged as one of the Top 50 Public Sector Women in Victoria by the Institute of Public Administration Australia (IPAA) in 2020, and as Health Technology Leader in the ITNews Benchmark Awards in 2024.
