For the past five years, Rohit has mentored university students, IT professionals, and individuals from non-technical backgrounds, helping them navigate the complexities of cybersecurity. He was honoured with the Cybersecurity Mentor of the Year Award at the AISA Conference in 2023 and has been named a finalist for the Cybersecurity Rising Star Award at the Australian Cyber Awards 2024.
Rohit has also served in the Australian Army Reserve for 15 years, recently transitioning into a cybersecurity role within Defence. As one of the few cybersecurity officers in the Defence Force, he was promoted to the rank of Captain, exemplifying his leadership and expertise.

Professionally, Rohit has worked with global giants such as Microsoft, Dell, Capgemini, and Avanade. Currently, he leads Solution Tech Group, a cybersecurity firm with a strong presence in ACT and WA. Under his leadership, Solution Tech has been a key contributor to the Canberra Cyber Hub since its inception, delivering cybersecurity architecture services to organizations like Department of Defence, Department of Industry and Services Australia. The company also plays a critical role in helping Defence industry partners achieve DISP accreditation.
