Melinda Smith is currently Special Counsel - Privacy at Griffin Legal. She has practised in a wide range of government settings and in the private sector, and is currently on secondment to a Commonwealth enforcement body where she advises on data breaches, complaints, privacy assessments and privacy governance. She is also a former lecturer in Privacy, IT and the Law at the Australian National University.
