David is a highly accomplished retired Detective Sergeant from the Queensland Police Service, where he dedicated over 27 years. As Officer in Charge of the Financial and Cyber Crime Prevention Unit, he played a pivotal role in safeguarding Queensland communities, businesses, and government agencies from the growing threats of cybercrime. David was responsible for the development and delivery of comprehensive cybercrime prevention programs, focusing on educating diverse audiences about the evolving landscape of cyber threats and fraud.

Currently, David serves as the Business Development Manager at Cultural Cyber Security, where he is involved in the organisation’s human-centric cybersecurity awareness, education, and training initiatives. David oversees the deployment of innovative programs, including Cybercation—a highly interactive, gamified cybersecurity training platform. Known for its engaging, hands-on approach, Cybercation consistently achieves a remarkable satisfaction rating of 9.8/10 from participating organisations, reflecting David's commitment to fostering a culture of cyber resilience and security excellence.
