Dan Elliott is the Head of Cyber Resilience ANZ for Zurich Resilience Solutions, responsible for supporting businesses to improve their cyber risk program. He came from his leadership role in ZRS Canada, working with global partners to reduce their risk and make cyber easier to understand.
Dan comes with over 15 years of experience in national security. He spent six years at the Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS) as an Intelligence Officer, holding several confidential roles in counterintelligence investigations and helped redesign the organisation’s operational risk management program.
Before that, Dan spent a decade in law enforcement, investigating multinational criminal organisations. During that time, he served under multiple agencies as a senior member of a national counterterrorism taskforce and led multinational online investigations into organised crime and money laundering.
Dan serves with several international organisations to improve awareness of global cyber risk issues speaking to Board, conferences, and think tanks.
