Annelies Moens, a privacy professional practising since 2001 founded Privcore, a profit-for-purpose privacy, AI and cyber risk management company. Privcore works with organisations to lift their maturity through conducting privacy health checks, privacy impact assessments and other services.
Annelies is the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) Vanguard Oceania 2023 Award recipient for demonstrating exceptional leadership, expertise and creativity in privacy and data protection. Annelies is also one of Australia's Superstars of STEM, selected in 2021-2022 for her widely recognised privacy expertise.
Annelies co-founded the IAPP in Australia and New Zealand, to develop the privacy profession in the region. She also worked at the federal privacy regulator for a number of years, now known as the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
