Synopsis

In the age where information is critical for strategic and tactical decision making, getting relevant information to decision makers in a timely manner is also critical.

Understanding the communication paths to senior leadership is often fraught with false messaging and indirect intention. While it is easy to think like a CIO or a CISO, drawing meaningful conclusion in relation to the information presented is less straight forward.

Everyone is looking for the single pane of glass that provides an immediate understanding of risk, however, risk is not always easy to qualify into easily digestable image or chart.

This presentation will walk through the many possible misinterpretations of information that may cause confusion or ambiguity. Presenting scenarios that have been observed by the presenter over the last 20 years of industry and public service experience.
